Moving on....

I thought I had my life planned out. I enjoyed an excellent reputation as a pain medicine physician working for a large national corporation. I served on medical missions both domestic and abroad. I loved practicing medicine. I loved my patients even more.

It all came to a screeching halt in October 2018 when I found out that my employer had neglected to obtain a pain clinic license for my office. Despite my professional licenses being in good standing, I was arrested and falsely branded a pill mill doctor. I was completely exonerated 9 months later, but the damage was done.

The opioid crisis has been a real wake-up call for everyone. While opioid therapy was a blessing for many, for others it was a devastating curse. As we start a new decade, I have resolved to practice the future of medicine. I have opened LifeStem in Savannah to provide stem cell therapies to relieve pain. My years of experience and training in pain and regenerative medicine makes me uniquely suited to provide these treatments. We are seeing amazing results with stem cells, but frankly many advertised claims are exaggerated and some are fraudulent. My goal is to be the voice of hope and integrity in this field through educating the public about the current state of the science and by providing effective, responsible pain relief through stem cells.
